Langhe e Roero with children

Langhe and Roero is an area in Piedmont Region – in the North of Italy – that we love and where we like to come back there every time we can. Roberto – the Dad – was born there and when we go there we always try to know a new part of this area of Piedmont, which provides very much in terms of food and wine (and not only).

Before having a child we focused on romantic villages and wineries because the Langhe is known as “Langhe Wine Region” of Italy because of the wine production of red wines (the most famous wine is called “Barolo“). Since our “Patato” – our little boy – is born our holidays in Langhe and Roero are (also) “suitable for a child”.

So today we try to give you some ideas if you would like to spend a few days in the Langhe and Roero with children because in our opinion this region is perfect to organize an holiday in Italy with kids!

If you like to spend the holidays in the middle of nature, Langhe and Roero are a perfect destination. Many farms offer the chance to walk in the vineyards and the hills, hire a horse or rent bikes.
